Our Services
Mobile Derm Consulting
Dr. Gimmler will review your pet’s medical history, examine your pet, and provide your veterinarian with a customized treatment plan for any type of skin or ear problem in pets.
Intradermal Allergy Testing
We run thorough tests to find out which environmental substances your pet is allergic to including but not limited to pollens, molds, insects, dander, dust mites.
Skin Biopsy
A minor surgical procedure that removes a few small pieces of skin for pathology review to test for autoimmune skin diseases or skin cancer.
Phovia fluorescent phototherapy
A new treatment in veterinary medicine that uses a special light to heal and fight skin sores and infections.
Cyrotherapy
For removal of small skin masses; works especially well for papillomas, actinic keratosis, hemangiomas, squamous cell carcinoma, or Bowenoid lesions.
Microneedling
For promotion of fur regrowth in cases of Alopecia X that have not responded to oral or implanted melatonin. . Requires heavy sedation or anesthesia.
Allergy Immunotherapy
After allergy testing, we formulate a solution containing all the allergens your pet reacted to and teach you how to administer this to your pet on a regular basis. This will desensitize the immune system over time so your pet no longer reacts to these substances. There are multiple options for administering the solution:
Injectable
We teach owners how to give small injections underneath the skin. This is safe to do at home are usually given every 2 weeks long-term.
Sublingual
A drop of the solution is squirted into the pet’s mouth twice daily long-term.
Intra-lymphatic
The newest form of immunotherapy. Dr. Gimmler injects a tiny amount of the solution into the lymph node behind your pet’s knee once a month.
Video otoscopy
Under anesthesia, a camera is used to clean out and view the deeper parts of the ear. This can be used to perform:
Myringotomy
Intentional puncture of the ear drum to culture and remove infection from the middle ear. This can be very helpful to resolve chronic ear infections that aren’t responding to traditional ear drops.
Ear mass removal
Some types of tumors in the ear canal can be removed this way rather than invasive surgery.

What is DermDelivered?
Derm Delivered is a mobile veterinary dermatology consulting service run by Dr. Jacqueline Gimmler, a board-certified veterinary dermatologist®. We come to your clinic to provide specialized diagnostics, treatments, and recommendations for your patients. It’s more convenient for pet owners and you keep the patient relationship long-term, along with the revenue that comes from prescribing medications.
Who is the client of Derm Delivered?
The primary care veterinary clinic is the main client of DermDelivered. We will be charging your clinic directly for most of our services.
The pet owner is a secondary client of DermDelivered. We will be charging the pet owner directly for a very limited number of items (example: Allergen-specific Immunotherapy subscriptions)
Who has primary care of the dermatology patients
The referring veterinarian maintains primary care of the dermatology patient. During the dermatology consult, Dr. Gimmler will examine the patient, make recommendations, and perform any specialized testing or treatment you’ve requested. You’ll be provided with a clinical summary, complete with medication recommendations (exact dosages calculated for you) and instructions for follow-up appointments.
It’s your decision if you want to relay these recommendations to your pet owners yourself or, if you prefer, Dr. Gimmler can call the pet owners for a small additional fee. The referring veterinarian will dispense medications whenever possible (though Derm Delivered does have an online pharmacy for any less common skin/ear medications that you might not carry).
How does follow-up care work?
Your clinical summary will include instructions for when to schedule recheck appointments and what to look for at follow-ups. Every DermDelivered consult includes one complimentary follow-up discussion between the referring veterinarian and Dr. Gimmler that can be used to interpret test results, discuss the patient’s progress at recheck, troubleshoot a flare-up, etc. If additional follow-up is needed beyond that, referring veterinarians can schedule a recheck consult or a teleconsult at their convenience
